The report comes a day after Stone went on a Twitter rampage against CNN contributor Ana Navarro, calling her a "pompous shithead" and an "abusive diva" who is "dumber than dogshit."

Stone blamed the CNN ban on the Clinton family, accusing them of silencing him.

Stone, a former aide in the Reagan and Nixon administrations, was fired from the Trump campaign last year.

He still frequently appears on television to speak up for Trump.

However, a campaign spokesperson charged that Stone "wanted to use the campaign for his own personal publicity."
