"That's your business," he said in response to a question about what he thinks about Trump during an interview with ABC News's Dan Harris.

He said he had no right to vote in the U.S. election and added that he doesn't know the "whole background" about the billionaire candidate.
 
"Sometimes I feel, oh, too much personal criticism," the Dalai Lama said.
 
He said serious discussions about policy matters are useful, but noted that the candidates sometimes engage in too many personal attacks.
