Former President Obama is scheduled to speak at the University of Chicago Monday afternoon in his first major public speech since leaving office in January.

Obama will speak to community organizers, activists and students at the university, which will be the site of his presidential library. He met with at-risk youth on Sunday in the same South Side Chicago neighborhood where he began his career as a community organizer.

His speech comes ahead of President Trump's 100th day in office on Saturday.
