Former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm (D) is giving the pro-Clinton group Ready for Hillary a boost.

The veteran diplomat offered joking encouragement to Clinton, noting that "four secretaries of state became president."

The Hill's Bob Cusack and Alexandra Jaffe preview Tuesday's Massachusetts Senate primary to fill the seat vacated by Secretary of State John Kerry. 

Schatz was tapped by Gov. Abercrombie to fill the seat of the late Sen. Daniel Inouye, who died in December.

Fifty-one percent said Clinton is running in 2016, and a plurality, 41 percent, believes she will be the Democratic nominee.

Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) endorsed Elizabeth Colbert Busch (D) for Congress on Thursday.

Massachusetts Democrats are concerned that Markey could be rusty going into the political fight of his life.

Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.) is staying as far away as he can from the brewing battle between Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) and Newark Mayor Cory Booker (D-N.J).

Menendez declined to weigh in when asked on ABC’s “This Week” on a potential Lautenberg-Booker primary contest, which has already gotten heated after Booker said last month he’s exploring a run for Lautenberg’s seat.

“That election is next year, and all of the back-and-forth now is something I’m really not focused on,” Menendez said.

“I'm not ruling out anything right now, but I think it's premature to be speculative,” said Booker.
