Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) is headed back to Iowa in March for an event sponsored by a leading Evangelical group in the state.

The appearance will mark her second Iowa trip this year, keeping the 2012 presidential buzz surrounding her very much alive.

Along with Bachmann, Reps. Ron Paul (R-Texas) and Steve King (R-Iowa) are also set to attend, according to The Des Moines Register's Tom Beaumont. The event is sponsored by the Network of Iowa Christian Home Educators.

Bachmann's first foray into Iowa came last Friday when she spoke at an event hosted by Iowans for Tax Relief. The Minnesota Republican also met with Gov. Terry Branstad (R) and other GOP leaders in the state.

Bachmann told reporters that she was encouraged by the reception she received.

"I'm here to be part of that conversation for 2012," Bachmann said. "There's been no decision about my candidacy, but I want to be a part of the conversation most definitely."

The congresswoman ruffled some GOP feathers Tuesday night by giving her own response to President Obama's State of the Union address. Bachmann said she offered the response at the request of the Tea Party Express.

The official Republican response came from Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.).
