'Meet the Press' and Facebook team up for NH primary debate

NBC's "Meet the Press" and Facebook will host a GOP presidential debate the Sunday before the New Hampshire primary.

Moderated by NBC's David Gregory, the forum will air as a special edition of "Meet the Press" and live stream on Facebook, according to a release.

It is scheduled to take place at 9 a.m. at the Chubb Theatre in Concord, N.H.

The date of New Hampshire's primary has yet to be determined. It will likely be in late January or early February, depending on the date other states set for their nominating contests.

NBC and Facebook, in their release, did not say which Republican contenders would be participating in the debate.

It's one of many events centered on the first-in-the-nation primary state.

The Manchester Union Leader, WMUR-TV and CNN hosted the first presidential debate in New Hampshire on June 7.

The Washington Post and Bloomberg News are scheduled to host a debate at Dartmouth College on Oct. 11.
