Perry to present 'Top Ten' list on Letterman Thursday
Rick Perry will be on the "Late Show with David Letterman" on Thursday night, Perry’s presidential campaign confirmed.
Perry told conservative radio host Laura Ingraham on Thursday morning that he was headed to New York City that day to tape appearances on the "Late Show" and Jon Stewart’s "Daily Show."
Letterman’s executive producer, Justin Stangel, then tweeted that Perry would perform the “Top Ten” list, a regular skit on the show that mocks some item in the day’s news.
During an awkward moment on the debate, Perry could not seem to remember the third federal agency he proposed to eliminate as president.
Perry’s website on Thursday morning offered visitors the chance to vote on the question: "What part of the Federal Government would you like to forget about the most?”
