The Democrat-affiliated Americans United for Change is up with a new Web video mimicking Corona's "Find Your Beach" commercials to hit Mitt Romney on offshore bank accounts he has in the Cayman Islands.
Romney has come under fire in recent weeks for hemming and hawing about immediately releasing his tax returns, which he finally agreed to do on Sunday. An ABC News report that he had millions of dollars in offshore accounts in the Cayman Islands, a tax haven, furthered the perception that he might be hiding something, although Romney's campaign called the report "flat wrong."
The group has long sought to paint Romney as a creature of Wall Street akin to Gordon Gekko, the corporate raider from the movie "Wall Street." Recent attacks from Republicans on the matter, as well as Romney's own evasive answers on releasing his tax returns, have helped to reinforce their message.
