Mangold, an All-Pro center in the NFL, is from Ohio and played college football at Ohio State University.
A noted conservative, Mangold campaigned with GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney in 2012.
Mangold’s NFL team is owned by Woody Johnson, who was the Jeb Bush campaign’s finance chairman.
