Christie added that Carson is a “good, decent, and honest man.”
Carson says his support has increased since the media increased scrutiny of him.
“I don’t see it as a big blow at all, and I don’t see it as a demotion,” Christie said.
David Polyansky is joining Cruz’s campaign as a senior adviser.
Fiorina said it wasn’t her job to defend the president, noting that he “isn’t on the ballot.”
“Do you think that’s the right temperament to be president? I don’t think so,” he said.
Scrutiny of Carson has intensified with his ascension to the top of GOP polls.
He predicted the reports doubting his life story will actually help his presidential campaign.
