Scott Walker raises $3.5M in first half of year

Walker has more than $2 million cash on hand for what appears to be an easy reelection battle, after two knock-down fights for office. The governor has said he's open to a White House run, and his fundraising prowess could help boost his campaign.

Walker raised an eye-popping $38 million to defeat the 2012 recall effort against him, though much of that was fueled by large donations he couldn't receive in a normal election, or if he runs for president. But if he runs for president the donor connections he built during that campaign would serve him well.
