Celebrity rabbi defeated in NJ House race

In one of Tuesday's more colorful races, Rep. Bill Pascrell (D) defeated celebrity Rabbi Shmuley Boteach to win another term representing New Jersey's 9th Congressional District, according to CNN.

Pascrell was the early favorite to regain his seat, running in a district in which Democrats outnumber Republicans 3 to 1, against Boteach — a political newcomer and the star of his own TLC reality TV show.
