Kennedys return to Congress

By Ramsey Cox - 11/06/12 10:43 PM ET

A Kennedy will once again represent Massachusetts in the U.S. Capitol come January.

CNN has declared that Joe Kennedy III beat Republican Sean Bielat, with nearly two-thirds of the polls still unreported.

Kennedy will replace retiring Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) in representing Massachusetts’s 4th District.

Kennedy’s father, Joseph P. Kennedy II, represented Massachusetts for more than 10 years in the 8th District.

At the Democratic National Convention in September, Kennedy introduced a tribute video to his great-uncle, the late Sen. Teddy Kennedy (D-Mass.).
