Rep. John Dingell (D-Mich.) defeated Republican challenger Cynthia Kallgren on Tuesday to win his 29th full term in Congress, according to The Associated Press.

Dingell leads Kallgren 69 to 28 percent, with 55 percent of precincts reporting, according to CNN, which called the race for the Michigan Democrat.
