The House Majority PAC, a group focused on helping House Democratic candidates, was slated to start running ads on Tuesday — but announced they'll wait.

"Out of respect for the victims and their families affected by today’s tragedy in Boston, House Majority PAC is requesting that South Carolina televisions stations delay the airing of our ad, originally planned for tomorrow," the group said in a statement released Monday evening. "Soon voters in South Carolina’s special election will cast their ballots. There are very important issues at stake, and the voters deserve a rigorous debate on them before the election."

Sanford and Colbert Busch are locked in a tight race, and the organization would have been the first outside group to launch a major ad campaign in the district.
