Biden to fundraise for vulnerable Rep. Markey

Vice President Joe Biden will attend a fundraiser for freshman Rep. Betsy Markey (D-Colo.) in Denver on Friday.

Markey faces a tough re-election campaign and is a top GOP target. She came under heavy fire earlier this year when she switched from voting "no" to "yes" on healthcare reform.

Biden will be in Denver to award a tech company stimulus money. Markey, who voted for the stimulus, will join him there. Then the two will head to her afternoon fundraiser. Markey raised a little over a half a million in the first quarter of 2010.
