Palin to fly to New Hampshire after Iowa

By Cameron Joseph - 08/31/11 05:30 AM ET

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) will head to New Hampshire after speaking Saturday in Iowa, according to The Iowa Republican.

Palin has remained decidedly undecided about a presidential run, at least publicly, and has indicated that she will announce her decision in September. Iowa and New Hampshire are the first two states to vote in the primary process, and her trip to both states will stir speculation that she will run.

Palin will speak to a Tea Party gathering outside of Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday. Her political action committee put out a Web video two weeks ago touting the appearance and indicating that its more than the normal visit.

Palin visited Iowa during the Republican straw poll in early August, drawing a crowd of supporters and journalists as large as any of the candidates did when she appeared at the Iowa State Fair.
