"If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency," Bornstein said in the statement released by Trump's campaign.
Bornstein said Trump was recently given a medical evaluation that only showed "positive results," with his blood pressure clocking in at 110/65. Trump's lab test results were “astonishingly excellent,” he said.
Bornstein's father, Jacob B. Bornstein, was Trump's previous physician. He passed away in 2010.
Trump, who has stood atop polls for the GOP nomination since the summer, vowed earlier this month that he would release his medical records. He said the doctor's report shows he is in "excellent health."
"I am fortunate to have been blessed with great genes — both of my parents had very long and productive lives," Trump, 69, said in a statement.
Trump labeled GOP rival former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, 62, as having "low energy," and has also claimed that Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, 68, lacks the "stamina" to be president.
"People have been impressed by my stamina, but to me it has been easy because I am truly doing something that I love," Trump said Monday.
