Trump tweets 9/11 photo to Cruz

The billionaire real estate tycoon tweeted an image of the World Trade Center in the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. 

"Is this the New York that Ted Cruz is taking about & demeaning?" Trump tweeted.

On Tuesday, Cruz slammed Trump for embodying "New York values."

Trump pushed back at Thursday's Republican debate, calling the statement "very insulting."  

Trump has been targeting Cruz with attacks in the days since the debate, calling him a "hypocrite" for his undisclosed bank loans and taunting him over a lawsuit about his citizenship.

He barraged Cruz with Twitter attacks throughout the day Saturday.
