A new poll shows Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders firmly entrenched atop their respective fields just days ahead of the New Hampshire primary.

Trump has 30 percent support from likely Republican primary voters, according to a Monmouth University Poll released Sunday.

His closest competitor, John Kasich, earns 14 percent support in results virtually unchanged from January.

Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush follow with 13 percent apiece, while Ted Cruz is the only Republican with double-digit support, at 12 percent. Bush gained 9 points in the last month, pollsters noted.

Among Democrats, Sanders holds a 10-point lead over Hillary Clinton, 52 to 42 percent. The Vermont senator lost a point in the past month, while Clinton has gained 3 points.

The Monmouth University Poll, conducted by telephone from February 4 to 6, has a 4.4 percent margin of error for both Republicans and Democrats.
