"I've hired tens of thousands of people," the GOP front-runner said at the CNN presidential debate. "You've hired nobody."

Rubio started the exchange by hitting the real estate tycoon for hiring illegal immigrants to work on a building project.

"You're the only person on the stage that's ever been fined for hiring people to work on your projects illegally," Rubio said. "You hired some workers from Poland."

But Trump cut in mid-sentence.

"No, I'm the only one on this stage that's hired people," the billionaire said. "You haven't hired anybody."

"You've had nothing but problems, with your credit cards, et cetera," Trump continued. "Don't tell me about problems. You haven't hired one person in your life."
