Former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer endorses Trump

Former Arizona Gov. Brewer served as governor between 2009 and 2015 and was known for signing strict immigration laws partially struck down by the Supreme Court. She said Trump would "secure our borders, defend our workers and protect our sovereignty" in an annoucement distributed by the campaign.

“As Mr. Trump says: we either have a country, or we don't. This may be our last chance to ensure our children grow up in a country with borders, and with a government that protects its own people," Brewer said. "This is our chance – Donald Trump is our chance – to save this country and Make America Great Again." 

Trump said he was "honored" to receive the endorsement and touted his support in Arizona.

“I am leading in all the polls and we have had amazing events with tremendous crowds," Trump said.
