Pete Rose tells Trump: Make America great again

The Republican presidential candidate tweeted an image of a signed baseball from the MLB star. 

“Mr. Trump, please make America great again,” Rose wrote on the baseball. 

At an earlier rally in Ohio, Trump pandered to Cincinnati Reds fans. 

“We gotta let Pete Rose in the Hall of Fame,” Trump said, according to Cincinnati.com.

Rose was banned from baseball in the late 1980s amid allegations that he gambled on games while playing for and managing the Reds.
