His Pennsylvania total heading into the national convention is now at least 50. Pennsylvania awards 17 delegates based on primary results — Trump swept all 17 Tuesday night — and its remaining 54 delegates are free to support the candidate of their choice.

The AP reported Wednesday that 33 of those have pledged to support Trump, although they can change their minds.

Trump swept all five GOP contests Tuesday and has a clear path to clinch the party’s nomination before the Republican National Convention in July.

The AP reported that Trump now has a majority of delegates awarded so far and needs to win 48 percent of the remaining delegates to lock down the nomination by hitting the 1,237 mark.
