Kasich helps girl secure prom date

Republican presidential candidate John Kasich helped a high school student ask her crush to prom — but it still wasn’t enough for the Ohio governor to secure her vote.

“Hey Nico, it would be ‘Kay-sick' if you would go to the prom with Julia,” the Ohio governor said in an eight-second video with the girl, ABC News reported.

Julia later tweeted that the "promposal" was successful. “He said yes!!” she said.
