“Crazy Bernie, he’s crazy as a bed bug, but, you know, he doesn’t quit,” Trump said during a rally at the Treasure Island Casino in Las Vegas.

Trump insinuated that Sanders is staying in the race in hopes that presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary ClintonHillary Diane Rodham ClintonDems make history, and other takeaways from Tuesday's primaries Establishment-backed Vukmir wins Wisconsin GOP Senate primary Ironworker and star of viral video wins Dem primary for Speaker Ryan's seat MORE is indicted over her use of a private email server as secretary of State.

“And I think Bernie should continue to go forward, folks,” the presumptive GOP presidential nominee said. “He should fight to the last end. Well, he’s waiting for the FBI to do what everybody thinks they’re going to do.

“I think he’s sort of saying, ‘Look, let’s hang in there, because ultimately it’s called the ‘FBI convention,’ and then we’ll be the only people and we’ll have done something like Trump did. I want to be like Trump,’ he said.

"If he gives up, we’ll say, 'Bernie, you’re a loser, you gave up.' "
