Trump has in the past revoked the press credentials of several media outlets including The Washington Post, Politico, BuzzFeed and The Huffington Post for what he considered unfair and biased reporting. He has also suggested he could revoke the credentials of The New York Times.
Pence has said in the past that he has a generally positive relationship with the press.
"I do believe in the public's right to know," he said Sunday.
