EMILY's List launching effort to elect female president

The group will review polling from battleground states and outline the effort in a press briefing next week. Though the Democratic Party boasts a broad slate of prominent female politicians, Clinton is the most likely to run in 2016.

And at least one other Democratic group is working to encourage Clinton to run. The Ready for Hillary super-PAC formed earlier this year, and has signed on a number of Clinton's former staffers and supporters to help with the effort.
