"We don't need this ethical stain that has been Bill and Hillary Clinton for decades now to continue. I think you'd need more than bleach bit to get rid of that type of ethical stain," Kellyanne Conway said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."
Conway argued that Hillary Clinton's lead in the polls began to slip before the news that the investigation into Clinton's use of a private server while secretary of State was under new review by the FBI.
Last week, FBI Director James Comey sent a letter to lawmakers, alerting them that newly discovered emails from a separate investigation may be relevant to the Clinton server.
"If you're an undecided voter, you're very decided about Hillary Clinton. There's really nothing else you were going to learn about her in these last eight to 10 days that is going to change their mind," Conway added.
