Trump hasn't held a press conference in 100 days

The Republican presidential nominee, who has previously hammered Democratic nominee Hillary ClintonHillary Rodham ClintonOPINION | Tomi Lahren: The left politicizes tragedy — as usual Hunting for the real Trump on Charlottesville New Trump campaign emails show efforts to set up Russia meetings: report MORE for avoiding the press, held his last formal press conference on July 27. 

Reporters following Trump on the campaign trail have publicly kept a record of any time he takes questions from reporters. 

CBS News reporter Sopan Deb has also tweeted to compare the number of times Clinton takes questions from reporters. 

Over the summer, Clinton was similarly criticized for going months without a formal press conference.
