According to Newsmax, she said she plans to think long and hard about running and will base her decision largely on whether political issues like education, housing and health care can be solved.
"I want to think seriously about it; I probably won't begin thinking about it until sometime next year," she said. "I will think about it because its something on a lot of people's minds. And it's on my mind as well. But I want us to think more broadly."
She also criticized the 2016 chatter, saying the focus on the presidential race is "bad for the country. Govern now. People have been elected to do a job now. And hold them accountable."
Clinton hasn't yet decided whether to run for president, but polling shows she'd be the clear front-runner for the Democratic nomination if she chooses to enter the race.
