Sanders raises $43.5 million in February

Clinton raised more than $30.1 million in February, her campaign announced on Sunday. 

Sanders also spent more than Clinton. He spent $40.9 million during the month, compared with $34.3 million spent by Clinton's campaign. 

Sanders started March with just $17.2 million in the bank, while Clinton began the month with about $31 million in cash on hand.

Sanders's campaign has raised nearly $140 million from about 2 million contributors, according to the Post.

Clinton has raised about $161 million overall from about 1 million contributors.
