Tea Party group unloads on Romney

The Tea Party Patriots unloaded a barrage criticism on Mitt Romney Tuesday night after news broke of President Obama's reelection. 

The group released a statement blasting Romney as a "weak moderate" who was the choice of party elites in Washington.

"For those of us who believe that America, as founded, is the greatest country in the history of the world — a ‘Shining city upon a hill’ — we wanted someone who would fight for us," said Jenny Beth Martin, National Coordinator of Tea Party Patriots, on Tuesday night.

Obama racks up battlegrounds of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin

President Obama has won the critical battleground states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, according to projections from multiple news outlets.

CNN projected an Obama victory in Michigan just moments after polls closed, and both Fox News and NBC have now called Pennsylvania for the president as well. Fox and NBC also called Wisconsin for the president.

Obama entered Election Day with a small lead in the polls in Pennsylvania, but Romney was pushing hard for the state in the closing days of the election. The GOP challenger booked two events in Pennsylvania this week and made a stop in Pittsburgh on Election Day.
