Ann Romney admits frustration with husband's campaign

Ann Romney said Sunday that that she was frustrated with her husband's presidential campaign staff for tightly controlling his image in the lead-up to the election.

The Romneys gave an extensive interview to Fox News Sunday where they reflected on the campaign and described how they've coped with their loss.

Asked if she and her son Tagg were angered by the campaign's unwillingness to "let Mitt be Mitt," Ann Romney said yes.

Former Obama campaign manager Messina starts consulting firm

Jim Messina, the campaign manager for President Obama’s reelection bid, launched his own consulting firm on Wednesday.

The Messina Group will advise clients, including political campaigns, that “want to build movements, services and products that succeed by being data-driven, digitally savvy and grassroots focused,” according to a statement from the firm.

Bobby Jindal will speak at CPAC

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) will speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference in March, making him the latest prospective presidential contender who'll appear at the right-wing confab.

"Governor Bobby Jindal represents a new generation of governors leading the conservative movement," American Conservative Union Chairman Al Cardenas said in a statement announcing Jindal's appearance. "We look forward to welcoming Governor Jindal back to the CPAC stage and hearing about the many conservative solutions he introduced in Louisiana."
