Last-minute stops for Reid and Angle as Nev. decides day's top race

LAS VEGAS — Senate candidates Harry Reid and Sharron Angle are making last-minute campaign stops Tuesday with voting under way across Nevada.

Senate Majority Leader Reid is set to rally volunteers on Tuesday morning at his campaign headquarters in the west Las Vegas neighborhood of Summerlin. Just before noon, the Democratic leader will serve lunch to volunteers at his Valley View campaign office as he fights to retain his job.

Republican Sharron Angle starts her day in Reno, where she'll cast her ballot at Robert McQueen High School. She'll hold one other campaign event in Reno before flying to Las Vegas for the GOP election-night party at the Venetian.

The Democratic watch party will be at the Aria Resort & Casino. Polls close at 7 p.m.

Both parties have spent millions on the tight Senate race, and the result will be among the most highly-anticipated of the night.
