Report: Rep. Capito to run for West Virginia Sen. Rockefeller's seat

The seven-term congresswoman declined to run against Democratic Sen. The 75-year-old Rockefeller is currently in his fifth term, and could retire, though he has not yet announced his plans for the upcoming cycle. He's won nearly all of his elections with sizable margins.

Her Senate bid means that Capito's 2nd District seat will be open in 2014.
