Sen. Mark Pryor (D-Ark.) is launching his reelection campaign with an assist from former President Bill Clinton.
Clinton, the Arkansas native son, will join outgoing Gov. Mike Beebe (D) in mid-March to help Pryor raise money for what's expected to be a tough race, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
No Republicans have officially launched a campaign against Pryor, but in the heavily conservative and increasingly Republican state he's likely to face a tough fight. Republicans have talked up freshman Rep. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) as a possible candidate for the seat.
