DSCC outraises NRSC for September

The NRSC fired back, promising it'll have enough money to be competitive. Republicans need to pick up a net of six seats for Senate control.

"Democrats have controlled Washington for the last five years and during that time it's been a dysfunctional disaster. Voters from Michigan to Louisiana, North Carolina to Alaska are sick of that dysfunction and a failure by their leaders to listen and lead," said NRSC spokesman Brad Dayspring. "Unfortunately for the DSCC, their self promotion is better than their actual position and we're even more encouraged about winning the majority today than we were in February."
