Norton joins call for repeal

By Aaron Blake - 03/23/10 04:41 PM ET

Former Colorado Lt. Gov. Jane Norton is joining the call for a repeal of the healthcare bill.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) sent out a release this afternoon trying to get Norton on the record, but Norton actually came out for a repeal last night. It looks as though nobody reported on it at the time, though.

Her campaign provided this statement Monday: “This bill represents the most significant move toward the failed policies of socialism America has seen in more than six decades. Our country must elect leaders this November who will work to repeal ObamaCare and bring real reform to our healthcare system."

Just about every major Republican candidate has now come out for repeal.
