Report: Rand Paul to endorse Mark Sanford

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) will endorse former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford's (R) House campaign, according to CNN.

Paul's endorsement comes as he is gearing up for a potential presidential run, with an eye on early-voting South Carolina; according to the report, he is planning an extensive swing through the state in June. The endorsement could come as early as Tuesday.

Rep. Amash: Ron, Rand Paul not pressuring me against Senate run

Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) is pushing back against a report that former Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) have pushed him to stay in the House instead of undertaking a Senate run.

"Report that Ron & Rand have asked me not to run for Senate is false--probably made up by same ppl promoting unelectable political class Rs," Amash tweeted Monday afternoon.
