Democrats and Republicans agree that former President Clinton's administration was more competent than the one run by President Obama.
A Fox News poll released Wednesday night found that overall, 68 percent of voters believe the Obama administration is less competent than the last Democratic administration.
Among Republicans, 84 percent say the Obama administration is less competent, and 69 percent of independents say the same.
Overall, voters also believe the administration of former President George W. Bush was more competent that the Obama administration.
Forty-eight percent say the Obama administration is less competent, while 42 percent say it is more competent. As expected, the parties break down along ideological lines.
Seventy-six percent of Democrats think the Obama administration is more competent, while 81 percent of Republicans say it is less competent.
Forty-seven percent of independents say the Obama administration is less competent, while 34 percent say it is more competent. Another 14 percent say it is the same.
The poll surveyed 1,006 registered voters from July 1-3 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percent.
