Prosecutors say that Charles Jason Moreland, 31, of Tulsa, Okla., sent emails to Reid in April saying Reid was "a dead man" and "if he steps foot out of D.C. he will be done."

The Tulsa World reports the affidavit also claims Moreland emailed the White House in September, saying he would travel to Washington and "start killing people if the monitoring of his Internet and cellphones did not stop."

The Secret Service contacted Moreland after the threat and told him to resume taking his medication, according to the affidavit.
