The bombshell book, which Trump has repeatedly attacked on Twitter, portrays him as an incompetent leader whose lack of experience in government has vexed White House aides and advisers.

Several top campaign staffers and advisers in the administration are quoted making disparaging remarks about Trump and his family.

Quotes attributed to former top strategist Stephen Bannon have resulted in his firing from Breitbart News.

The White House has pushed back against the book's claims, calling it "complete fantasy and full of tabloid gossip," while Trump himself has termed the book "phony."
