There's no question whether the healthcare bill will pass Congress, just of how strong it will be, meaning liberals shouldn't let up on pressuring lawmakers, Jed Lewison says at Daily Kos. However, it would have been nice to know from President Barack Obama at the beginning of the healthcare debate that the public option wasn't, after all, essential, mcjoan says.
