Capitol Police give all-clear after report of suspicious package at Metro stop

The U.S. Capitol Police bomb squad investigated a report of a suspicious package at the Capitol South Metro stop Monday morning, according to a Capitol Police spokeswoman. 

Capitol Police gave the all-clear a few hours later, saying nothing hazardous was found. The Metro stop that runs on D.C.'s Blue and Orange lines and the streets surrounding the area have reopened after being closed for the investigation.
