Obama, family attend Easter church services

President Obama, along with his wife and daughters, attended Easter service Sunday at Washington's Shiloh Baptist Church.

The Rev. Dr. Wallace Charles Smith, the church's senior minister, welcomed the Obamas and asked the congregation to stop taking pictures.

"It probably has not been lost on you that we have some very special visitors this morning ... so we welcome President Barack Obama, Michelle, Malia and Sasha," he said, according to press pool report.

Smith said the church had decided to pray for the president and the first family.

"So if you're feeling blue and all of a sudden you feel a little better, that's our prayers," he said.
