Trump ‘open’ to position in Romney’s Cabinet
Businessman Donald Trump speculated about a future position in Mitt Romney’s Cabinet on Wednesday and said he would be “open” to the possibility.
“It's certainly not something I'm looking for,” Trump said on CNN. “It's very early to worry about it. I think number one, he has to get the nomination; number two, he has to get elected. After that, I would certainly be open if I could do anything to help him or the country.”
Trum said that he has not discussed with Romney the possibility of serving in his Cabinet should his bid for the White House be successful. But Trump said if it happens, he would like to serve in “a position where I negotiate against some of these countries. Because they are really taking our lunch.”
