Trump tapes Michigan robocall for Romney bashing Santorum

Donald Trump will appear on a robocall for the Mitt Romney campaign, blasting Rick Santorum as a "career politician" who has only ever worked for the government or as a lobbyist.
"This is Donald Trump and I have to tell you that I'm tired of Rick Santorum pretending he's some kind of D.C. outsider," the realty television show host says. "Rick Santorum is a career politician that's never had a job in the private sector — he doesn't know about producing jobs."
The call will go out to Michigan voters in the days before Tuesday's pivotal primary.
"Needless to say, Rick Santorum is deeply entrenched in the Washington culture and has been for decades," Trump says.
Trump then praises Mitt Romney — whom he endorsed, after much speculation, earlier this month at an event in Las Vegas — as a "good man who works hard" and is able to stand up to the Chinese and OPEC.
"We gotta get him elected because he's the one person who can beat President Obama," Trump says.
It's Trump's second effort on the phones for Romney since announcing his endorsement — last week, the real estate mogul tweeted about personally phoning donors to fundraise money for Romney.
Trump's media liaison, Michael Cohen, later confirmed to CNN that Trump had raised "a substantial amount of money for the governor" over an hour of fundraising calls.
"Donald Trump doesn't only come with his larger-than-life persona, he comes [with] his personal relationships, which are substantial and far-reaching," Cohen added.
