The Arizona Right to Life Political Action Committee has endorsed Rick Santorum for president, the campaign announced on Wednesday.
"There are few who are as articulate and passionate on life issues as Senator Santorum," Arizona Right to Life President Michelle Clements said in a statement. "He not only voted the right way, he talks about the dignity and value of every human life whenever he has the opportunity, and he lives out those values in his own personal life. We are grateful for his leadership and proud to endorse him."
On Tuesday he met with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, a Tea Party favorite. Arpaio, who had previously endorsed ex-candidate Rick Perry, said that he plans to endorse a candidate after the Feb. 28 Arizona primary.

Throughout the Republican presidential primary, Santorum has been able to rally social conservative groups and particularly anti-abortion-rights activists and groups to his cause. The former Pennsylvania senator has also styled himself as the most pro-life candidate in the Republican presidential field.
Santorum is reportedly hoping to beat Mitt Romney in Arizona by winning over influential Tea Party groups and supporters.
