Report: Bill Clinton to fundraise with Obama

A number of people who work in the financial sector and gave to Obama in 2008 switched to giving to GOP candidate Mitt Romney in 2011, according to fundraising data.

Fundraising efforts for Obama’s reelection got off to a slow start this year. The campaign announced in January that it had raised $68 million in the last part of 2011, a low number after speculation last year — quickly tamped down by the campaign in 2012 — that Obama could raise $1 billion for his campaign.
